There are many products that claim to be able to counteract visible signs of ageing as well as damage like scarring. However, few deliver effective results.

As such, we are delighted to be able to offer INFINI – a revolutionary new skin rejuvenation procedure. INFINI works by delivering heat energy to pre-determined, deeper layers of skin which stimulates collagen growth and tissue tightening. It does this by combining radiofrequency technology with microneedling.

For collagen to be stimulated, it is necessary to heat it to approximately 60 degrees Celsius. It is the radio-frequency waves that supply the heat needed to trigger collagen production, sending it into the 49 sterilized, microscopic needles that will penetrate multiple layers of the dermis and deliver the heat directly into it.

What skin issues can be treated with INFINI?

INFINI can be successfully used to treat a variety of common skin issues. In addition to reducing more obvious signs of ageing, such as loss of skin laxity, lines and wrinkles, INFINI can also be used to improve pigmentation changes and skin texture. This makes it highly effective in treating problems such as acne or other facial scarring, enlarged pores and even stretch marks. Traumatic scars and acne scars have been clinically proven to respond well to a series of INFINI treatments.

Although the majority of INIFNI treatments are performed on facial skin, loss of skin laxity and signs of ageing on the neck and décolletage have been found to respond well to this form of rejuvenation. Dr. Chin will be able to advise you if you are a good candidate for INFINI on these areas of your body.

How many INFINI treatments will I need?

Every patient that passes through our doors is unique and we tailor our treatment programs to your specific needs to make sure that you receive the results that you are looking for without the need to undergo unnecessary treatment. In most cases, between two and four INFINI treatments will be needed. We recommend a gap of approximately three to four weeks between your treatments to allow your skin time to start producing new collagen and so we can see how effective the previous treatment has been.

What should I expect after INFINI?

INFINI is a minimally-invasive procedure and as such, only topical anesthetic is needed ahead of each treatment. This should keep you comfortable throughout. However, directly after your INFINI treatment your face may feel slightly sore and will look a little red. This should last for up 24 hours. Patients who have very vascular skin or who take blood thinners may find that they also experience mild, pinpoint bleeding and very light bruising. Your skin may seem unusually rough for several days, although this will disappear when newer, smoother skin comes to the surface.
