Dr. Douglas Chin is a board-certified plastic surgeon and one of the Bay Area’s premier experts in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He brings world-class surgical expertise and a deep commitment to bespoke patient care.

A graduate of Harvard College, Dr. Chin earned his medical and graduate degrees from Harvard Medical School and M.I.T., completed surgical training at the NYU Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, and pursued advanced fellowship training in Microsurgery and Hand & Upper Extremity Reconstruction at UCLA.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand, jointly administered by the American Boards of Plastic and Orthopedic Surgery. He is also an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
