Dr. Douglas Chin is a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery who practices cosmetic and reconstructive surgery in Oakland, with a deep commitment to bespoke patient care.
A graduate of Harvard College, Dr. Chin earned his medical and graduate degrees from Harvard Medical School and M.I.T., completed surgical training at the NYU Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, and pursued an advanced fellowship in Microsurgery and Hand and Upper Extremity Reconstruction at UCLA.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand, jointly administered by the American Boards of Plastic and Orthopedic Surgery.
