What Dr. Chin does

The full list, grouped so the in-office work reads first. Typical visit lengths are shown where the practice has published them. Where a row is blank, the office can tell you.

In-office minor surgical

Laser and skin

Resurfacing and skin treatments performed in the laser suite.

Laser and skin
Procedure Typical visit
eCO2 fractional laser 30 to 60 min
Infini RF microneedling
LaseMD 20 to 30 min
Laser skin resurfacing 30 to 60 min

Injectables

Botox and fillers, all injected by Dr. Chin.

Face, breast and body

The larger reconstructive and elective operations.

You are probably picturing an operating room. Most of this happens in an exam room, under local anesthetic, in about half an hour.

Whether something can be handled here in the office depends on its size, where it is and the risk involved. Dr. Chin makes that call at your consultation, after he has examined the area.

The cosmetic side

Botox and fillers are injected by Dr. Chin himself, not delegated. Laser resurfacing and the elective operations are his work too, done to the same standard as everything else in this office. All of it sits on the procedures page with the rest of what he does.

Two ways people arrive here

As a patient

You book a consultation. Dr. Chin examines the area, tells you what he would do and why, and decides whether it can be handled here in the office. Where the reason for treating it is medical, we bill your insurer. Where it is cosmetic, it is paid out of pocket. Workers compensation and lien cases are routine here.

As counsel

Dr. Chin works as a non-treating expert. He performs Qualified and Agreed Medical Evaluations, fit-for-duty and Jones Act evaluations, and Department of Labor disability evaluations. He testifies at deposition and at trial, and he remains impartial toward both applicant and defense.
