Either of our surgeons will perform one of the varied tummy tuck surgery (“abdominoplasty”) techniques to help you achieve a slender, toned abdominal profile should you qualify for this procedure.

If you have excess sagging skin and loose abdominal muscles, a full abdominoplasty is typically recommended. This requires an incision along the lower abdomen from hipbone to hipbone, followed by separation of the skin from the underlying muscles. One of our East Bay tummy tuck surgeons will then tighten the muscles and remove excess skin. In addition, a new opening for the belly button may be necessary when performing a full tummy tuck.
